João Ferreira Dias
João Ferreira Dias is an integrated researcher at the Center for International Studies at ISCTE (CEI-ISCTE), where he is part of the Democracy, Activism, and Citizenship research group. He serves as a political analyst for CNN Portugal, collaborates with the European Center for Populism Studies, and regularly contributes as a columnist to leading Portuguese newspapers. His research focuses on culture wars, polarisation, populism, democracy, and fundamental rights. Author of the book “Guerras Culturais” [Culture Wars].

Guilherme Diniz
Born in Campinas (São Paulo), Professor Guilherme Diniz holds a degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the University of Ribeirão Preto. He currently teaches Brazilian History and Brazilian Literature in preparatory courses for candidates pursuing a diplomatic career. A scholar of Brazilian Social Thought, his research focuses on republican political ideas in Brazil, the history of Positivism and the Tenentismo movement, as well as the role of the military in Brazilian history. He is married to Paula and is the father of Theodoro and Camilo.
